A key step in successful portfolio management is to “Focus on the Leaders.” Our proprietary Adaptive Leadership System tells us which classes are likely to outperform given the current environment and is on display in our Leader Board below.

We have found that by paying attention to where the performance is both in the US market and around the world, it is easier to know where to make investments when money becomes available or when portfolio shifts are warranted.

As you review this report on a weekly basis, you will probably recognize that shifts in leadership are slow to develop. Don’t despair, this is a “big picture” overview and it takes time for changes to occur. However, perhaps the best advice we can provide to visitors is to make a habit of spending just a couple of minutes each week with our Leader Board, the Risk Manager Report, and the Market Models.

Our SOTM reports are brief, to the point, and easy to follow. And while these “big picture” reports aren’t sexy or fast moving, we can assure you that by keeping your portfolio “in tune” with the big picture, your performance will improve dramatically over time.
